Self-care that you can easily do at home.

You’ve been going all week, and you’re TIRED. Sometimes it is as simple as that. You just want a little bit of time to yourself to reset. Self-care doesn’t have to be deep, nor does it have to be the whole day for it to be beneficial. It just must be true to you and something that will help you to breathe true again.

I decided this year that I would have weekly self-care days. Coming from a person that has never done something like this before, I had to think about what that would look like for me. Everyone deserves a self-care day even if you can’t do it weekly, maybe you can do bi-monthly or even just once a month. As long as you have consistent moments in your life in which you can regroup and reintroduce you to you.

At home self-care ideas

Some days, though you want to treat yourself to a little TLC, you may not necessarily be able to leave the house, or you simply don’t want to. Also, not everyone wants to spend a ton of money on self-care every time. It’s great some days, but others, you just want to have a lowkey day. I completely understand that! So here are some self-care tips that you can do in the comfort of your own home.

  • Skin care
  • Face masks
  • Bubble bath
  • Hair care
  • At home “spa” day
  • Screen time

If you’ve noticed that you have been in a bad mood, or your stress and anxiety levels are a mess, sis, you may want to take a day. No one else benefits when we are like this. Self-care can benefit us physically, mentally and emotionally, because we have to actually take the time to stop and self-assess.

Our ultimate goal of self-care is not to be overly indulgent but to be fulfilled enough that we can give of ourselves freely and without resentment.
